1. Log in to your WhaleFin HK account, click [] - [Identity Verification].
2. Select [Corporate Verification] and click [Verify Now].
3. Select principal country or region of business and institution type, then click [Next].
4. Professional Investor Verification: Read WhaleFin HK PI policy, upload your filled PI assessment form and the supporting documents issued or submitted within the last 12 months.
Note: WhaleFin HK will only onboard and serve customers that are deemed "Professional Investors" as defined under the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Ordinance (“SFO”). All customers would need to complete the Professional Investor Assessment Form as part of their onboarding process.
5. Identity Verification: Upload relevant information according to the requirements and proof of relevant certificates of your institution.
6. Confirm "Declaration and Confirmation" to complete your identity verification request.
A review will be done and is expected to be completed within 10 business days. You will receive an email or text notification when it is done.
